Delete your Aarthik AI account

You can delete your account from inside the app, or by writing to us. This page explains how to do it, what we delete, and the records we are required to keep.

1. Delete from the app

  1. Open the Aarthik AI app and sign in.
  2. On the Home tab, tap your profile photo in the top-right corner to open the account menu.
  3. Tap Account.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Delete account.
  5. Read the confirmation and tap Delete.

You are signed out straight away, and you will not be able to sign in again or register again with the same email address.

2. Delete by email

If you cannot reach the app, write to support@aarthik.ai from the email address your account is registered with, using “Delete my account” as the subject.

We have to be sure the request really comes from you, so please write from your registered address. If you write from any other address we will ask you to confirm from the registered one before we act. We delete the account within 7 days of confirming the request.

3. Before you delete

  • Cancel any active subscription first. Deleting your account does not stop a basket subscription that is still billing. Cancel it yourself, or ask support@aarthik.ai to cancel it for you, before you delete.
  • Your investments are not sold. Baskets are bought and held in your own broker account, not with us. Deleting your Aarthik AI account removes the link to your Broker; it does not sell anything or close your broker account. Your holdings stay exactly where they are, and your Broker is where you manage them from then on.
  • It cannot be undone. There is no way to restore a deleted account or recover its history.

4. What we delete

When your account is deleted, we delete:

  • Your profile — name, email address, phone number and photo.
  • Your watchlist and saved baskets.
  • Your AI chat history.
  • Your broker connection details.
  • Your notification settings and registered devices.

5. What we keep, and for how long

We keep your payment and subscription records, and the order history attached to them, for up to 8 years. Indian tax law and SEBI rules require us to hold these, so we cannot delete them on request. They are kept only for that purpose — not to contact you and not to build a profile of you — and they are deleted once the period ends.
